出现的问题：

单位有一台Dell服务器Power Edge 1600sc，机器的内存是1G，但是启动系统提示 Amount of available memory limited to 256MB!进入系统后监测也只有256M内存。

 

解决的方法：

在bios设置里找到“OS Install mode”的选项，设置为on会限制内存为256MB，设置为off会把全部内存给系统使用。

There is a BIOS setting for `OS Install mode' which if set `on' limits the OS to 256MB. If set `off' this gives all available memory to the OS.
