Flash Player 9 Update
This is a prerelease version of the Adobe?Flash?Player 9 Update software for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms. It is being made available for developers and consumers to test their content to ensure new features function as expected, existing content plays back correctly, and there are no compatibility issues.
The Flash Player beta is available in all languages; however, the beta installers are only in English and we can only accept feedback in English at this time. Flash Player beta downloads are available for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms at this time.

The following downloads will install a beta version of Flash Player 9 Update. All users should uninstall any currently installed Flash Player before installing the beta.

Important: The following known issues exist in the hardware scaling feature. Please see the release notes for additional known issues.
- In this beta build, hardware acceleration
is
always enabled in full-screen mode. If you experience crashes or other failures, you can revert back to software-only mode by checking “Use software renderer” in the Display tab of the Flash Player Settings UI. To access the Settings UI, right click on any Flash content. - Because hardware rendering is not currently functional in
VMWare or Parallels, going to full-screen mode in VMWare or
Parallels will cause a crash or failure.
WORKAROUND: Ensure your system is in software-only mode by checking “Use software renderer” in the Display tab of the Flash Player Settings UI before going to full-screen mode. To access the Settings UI, right click on any Flash content.
