I finished with the 1st place of the 9th race this afternoon, all the series races of the national championship was overed, and as everybody expected, I won the gold medal again since last year's nationals of europe class which was held in Shishi, Fujian. Although it was my first time of winning in the new Laser Radial class, I am not very satisfied with my performance during the competition. I have made lots of mistakes such as OCS(out of the starting line before the start signal), finding the wrong mark, capsized while gybing, touching the mark and so on. I have better upwind speed than the others, as I tried to pay more attention on sailing around the waves, and also tried to do more body movements to avoid hitting the waves. But I had a poor downwind speed, for I didn't controlled the boat with more stability while surfing down a wave. So the next trainning step for me is to improve more feeling on catching the waves while sailing downwind.

In the next few days we will have sum up meetings for this event, meanwhile, do some physical training in the gym everyday to keep our fitness. Then soon afterwards, I will go back to my hometown Shanghai for three days for my univerysity school tests. The tests will begin on the 5th march, so I might fly home two days before that.

The next regatta is the Aisa Championship in Cartel, and will be held in 18th March. It will come quite soon, hope I can get another good result there. Well, chat later, I feel vey tired after several days racing.
