The Press Conference of NAUTICA supporting Chinese Yachting Association

I went to Shanghai the day before yesterday to
attend an important Press Conference. This is my first time to take
part in such an reception, so I am a little curioused before I went

In the afternoon of 22nd, Mr. Liquanhai 、Chiqiang and me got
on an offical car which would take us to Shanghai from Lianyungang.
It took us seven hours to reach the termini, so it was already 8
o'cclock when we arrived the Shanghai Rassion Hotel in
west Nanjing Rd. It is a Five-Star hotel,
everything's very luxury. I got a big surprise when I opened my
room door----a huge living room caught into my eyes, and also with
a very big、high-grade bedroom. I could say it was the most
beautiful and neat hotel I have ever stayed, hehe. Meantime I felt
a little lonely for only oneself living in such a big room. So I
called to my mother and told her to come stay with
me. It was also a very good chance for me to take
a look to my parents for haven't seen them nearly six months. Sure
I was very happy to see them one hour later, I talked a lot with

Early next morning, I went to the gym to
do some exercises, also to keep my physical power in a good
condition. I trained one and half hours and then back to room to
took a bath. After that, Mr. Li informed me to have breakfast at
nine, we had the meal together with the American team members and
Director Wei, everyone introduced themselves to each other, so did
I. While during the meal, the manager of Nautica company told us
the timetable of all day's plan, I got a shock when I knew so many

The first plan began at ten a.m. which
was chosen clothes for all of us as we had to wear Nautica clothing
to mark the occasion such like interview. They gave me several
suits of clothes, and three pairs of shoes, I like every style of
these clothes even though some of them are not suitable for

Then the first interview began at eleven
in Xintiandi Bistro, many journalists who from magazines and
newspapers asked me questions about my training life and the

At noon, we were invited to have dinner
together with four CEOs of Nautica company who come from America
and Hongkang. We had the lunch meal in Shanghai Night Restaurant,
and it was a great honour for us to have Dinner with such important

In the afternoon the Press Conference
was officially opened at half past two, many VIP guests and
reporters there when I entered a tent. I made a short
speech in it, to thanks the Nautica company has
became one of the sponsors
of Chinese Yachting Association, and we all
appreciate them will
be supporting us until 2008 Olympics. I believe
this cooperation can make more and more people to know about
Chinese sailing team and the Nautica clothing as well. Although I
was very nervous while saying it, afterwards many people told me I
have done a good job even I didn't make any preparation for it.

Soon after the reception, a City race
for fifteen small boat was held in Xintiandi laguna. During that
time another interview for us began at the same place, this time
all the reports were from Hongkong media. A very interesting thing
is that as the Hongkong people couldn't speak chinese well except
Yueyu, then we began to use english
for making the conversation. How
funny, the chinese didn't speak chinese to each other, but English,

They asked me about Lilishan who playing the windsurfing before,
I've heard that Li has already had a baby girl ,
no wonder that she didn't participate in the National Games these

When the city race was finished, a
fashion show of Nautica clothing began at six in the evening on a
big stage also in Xintiandi. Thousands of people there looking for

The last activity of today was
a vip cocktail party, we went to
a public house near Fuxing Park, there were almost 90% of
foreigners, many of them are come from
America、Switzerland、Britain、France and so on. This is my first
time to join that type of
occasion, everybody were busy drinking、talking、laughing and
eating, it was not long before I was accustomed within it. I
ordered some red wine, also had some Pizza and
spaghetti, then started making conversations with different kinds
of people. Time flies, three hours passed so quickly, it was
already 12 when I looked at my watch. I felt extremely tired, u
know, I never go to bed after 11. Then I said goodbye to some
friends, very nice to know them all, its just like a a farewell
party, because I donno whether we could meet again in the

I got on a taxi and went back to my
hotel, soon after I arrived my room, I was fall
asleeped.
In the morning of 24th, we came back to

afternoon I returned training with my team for preparing the
National Games, and my trip to Shanghai was all overed then. The
most unforgettable experience for me this time is that I have
speaken English more than Chinese during these two days, it seems
like u couldn't exist without English in this kind
of world I lived in the other day, I am very proud
of myself can
speak English loudly at
present, but my English skill is not good enough
yet, I still need to progressing it all the time in the
