Encouraged by the last year’s adventure in
the West Coast (San Francisco, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas),
we visited several East Coast Cities, Boston, Portland and Acadia
National Park, Quebec, Montreal and Albany this Summer. After 1600 miles driving, we safely
returned home tonight.
According to the old Chinese saying that
“traveling 1000 miles is more valuable than reading 10000 books”,
we benefited from the trip greatly. Although the trip was little hasty
(like “watching flowers on a horse back”), we enjoyed the
experiences, esp., the city of Quebec. I also enjoyed driving through the
beautiful highway 201 from Maine to Quebec. “River, mountain,
cloud and sunset…,” I
can’t find words to describe the scene. We also spent almost
whole day in Harvard University and MIT, and bought two books
(“Wise up” and “In Code”) there. Although it was questionable whether I
could become smarter after this visit and reading the books, it was
certainly worth the time and money.
A little thought from watching “changing
guards” in Quebec
You could never be the “chief” until you
look like him
