*Homework Expectations – All written assignments need to meet classroom expectations which includes; writing to be done only in regular pencil, include a drawing and add color using crayons or colored pencils (no markers please). Encourage your child to work towards including a topic sentence, at least three details, and a concluding sentence. Students will require varying degrees of support at home to accomplish these goals. In order to build fluency in writing, please let your child use inventive spelling (sounding out words phonetically) before giving them assistance. At this time of the year, fluency and expression of ideas are more important to us than perfect spelling.
you
果果自己填上:I can speak Chinese!
We went to Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge with two other families. It
took us
2 hours to get there. On the way we had to cross 4 bridges. The
first one
wasn't very long. The second was as long as the first one. The
third one was
very very long. It was so long that part of it looked like the
London
Bridge. The fourth one was so short that it only took us one minute
to cross
it.
We drove and drove and turned into a parking lot. Somebody was
buried there.
He was lost at sea in the 1960s. Then one family's car pulled up.
After 30
minutes another family's car pulled up. Then together we drove to
Ingleside
Road. My car was in the lead. We had a picnic. We got to choose a
picnic
table first. All the tables were filled with daddy long legs. There
were a
lot of mosquitoes too. So I ate while walking around. One family
gave me
some broccoli. Another family gave me a piece of chicken meat.
After the
picnic we went crabbing. It wasn't far so we walked there. There
was a
rectangular rock that acted like a table.
There was a rock pile that was formed by big rocks. I climbed to
the top
rock. There were strips of wheat we used as magic wands. Then we
discovered
an island. It was connected to where we were. But we couldn't walk
there,
because high grass was blocking the way. So we had to walk through
the water
. My dad, my friend's dad, my friend and I all went there. Mom
joined us
later. 20 minutes after my mom came I went back with my
mom.
believe I saw a snake! Then we had dinner on the rectangular rock.
Then my
friend let me play his Iphone. I played glow hockey and Fly Away
Rabbit. I
played in till 5:40. Finally it was time to go home. We had fun and
we
caught 33 crabs.
