2012年奥运会期间，当代著名摄影师David Burnett带着他的大画幅胶片相机出现在奥运赛场边的照片迅速在网上被热传。Burnett是受国际奥委会邀请，随意以自己的方式去拍摄奥运会。于是他拿起来40年代产的Speed Graphic和1943 年的航空镜头来到奥运会场。

Burnett一共拍摄了350张4x5黑白照片。平均拍摄一张照片需要1分钟左右，更不必提对焦的难度了——他拍摄的都是在高速运动中的奥运选手。下面就是一组Burnett拍摄的奥运会照片：
