在新年到来之际，把这首欢乐之歌送给朋友们。

     威廉·布莱克（1757-1827），英国著名诗人，以其诗集《天真之歌》为世人所知，《欢笑之歌》即其中一首。这首诗轻快活泼，山笑水笑，树笑草小，人笑空气笑，连蚂蚱也在笑，一派天真无邪，无忧无虑的样子，难怪叫做《天真之歌》啊。

  When  the   green  woods  laugh  with  the  voice  of  joy

  And  the  dimpling  stream  runs  laughing  by,

  When  the  air  does  laugh  with  our  merry  wit

  And  the green  hill  laughs  with  the  noise  of  it;

  When the  meadows  laugh  with  lively green

  And  the  grasshopper  laughs  in  the  merry  scene,

  When  Mary and  Susan  and  Emily

  With  their  sweet   round  mouths  sing  Ha, Ha, He;

  When  the  painted  birds  laugh  in  the  shade

  Where  our  table  with  cherries  and  nuts  is  spread,

  Come  live  and  be  merry  and  jion  with  me,

  To  sing  the  sweet  chorus  of  Ha,  Ha,  He.

    葱绿的林木笑出欢声，

   遥远的小溪笑出波纹，

   空气中飘荡着我们的笑语，

   青山和着喧闹笑语连绵。

   笑出浓绿的是片片青草地，

   良辰美景蚱蜢笑得怪得意，

   玛丽，苏珊还有艾米丽，

   甜甜的小嘴唱着“哈，哈，嘻！”

   树林里斑斓的鸟儿笑声欢，

   桌上果品丰盛我们在野餐。

   来吧让我们欢笑在一起，

   齐唱甜美的歌儿“哈，哈，嘻！”
