office at the ready
For the first six weeks Joan Slater
sat alone in an empty office."I
thought I had a good idea, but then I wasn't so sure", she
remembers.
Her business plan
was to meet the temporary office needs of busy
business people. In those first six weeks she was
general manager and the only employee of the company! However
things go better when an overseas
lawyer became her first client.
