英语教师的理想与情怀:你为什么而教?

 今天是第32个教师节,笔者邀请了各路大咖聊一聊自己的从教感悟, 从中我们可以感受到他们的教育情怀,教育理想,教育信念,教学智慧,执著追求。

 杨君梅(英语教师,知名培训品牌创始人):老师要是全能的啊,要擅教学,能服务,会招生,懂后勤。

 戴宏邦(英语教育专家,公办小学校长):
转眼就到了第32个教师节,我已经走完了27年教学历程,我现在感觉逐渐接近一个真正的教育者了,褪去了激情,褪去了功利,褪去了狂妄也退去了卑微,在我的心中却对教育充满了虔诚,教育的真理在于教学实践中,我愿意勤奋耕耘,期冀一个个丰硕的金秋。

凌应强(浙江桐乡市小学英语教研员):

感悟1:怀揣八斗,超越教材,面向学生。 感悟2:做好课堂教学,提高教学效率,提升学生能力,是教师解放自己的终极法宝。

 王亮(资深英语教师):

Teaching life is just like story. In the story, teachers may play many roles like administrators, parents, friends and so on. Teaching is not easy but meaningful.

 毕耀华(某外国语学校外语教研室主任,中考命题专家):

相对于学生的一杯水而言,老师这一桶水必须是活水,否则在这个日新月异的时代,老师也会很快被淘汰。

 鲁子问(知名教授,课标组专家,貌似不需要我介绍):

教育是人类自我改造与升华的唯一可能。从教,就要首先改变自己、升华自己。

 董健(资深英语教师,区小学英语教研员):

从我们大人的角度看孩子的世界并不难,难的是我们愿意蹲下来,和孩子完全平等并且感同身受。这不是教育理念而是一种生活态度。

 沈先尧(英语教育专家,资深校长,某幼教集团副总):

非常感谢以上各位在这里分享他们对教育的深入理解和感悟,对教育的情怀和见解。有三位因为近期工作太忙碌,抽不出时间静下心来思考,我表示灰常理解,希望以后能有时间放松下来。

Why do I teach?

 Why do you teach? many people would ask me this question. I can read their sympathyand implications from their pathetic looks. Teaching is not considered to be agood choice for men. Anything will do. Teaching is good as long as you dontmake a living at it.

Then why do I still teach?

Because I wish to teach kids the way theyshould be taught, not the way I was taught and suffered.

Because I can learn and share. The secret is:the best way to learn anything is through teaching it to others.

Because I can help learners develop physically,mentally, psychologically and spiritually.

Because I can see children accomplish andachieve something.

Because I can witness the growth of a seedinto a tree.

Because I can connect people and touch thelives of so many impressionable children.

Because I can learn to change to cope withchanges. We are teaching kids to prepare for the unknown future.

Because I can show them the wonders ofintellect and academics.

Because I can experience childhood andadolescence again and again.

Because I can dip creativity into the everydaywork and see miracles happen.

Because I can embrace the many challenges inthe profession.

Because I can elicit the best out of the nextgeneration.

Because I can exploit their potentials andinnate capacities.

Because I can possess the power to empowerstudents to be somebody.

Because I can get loads of Happy Teachers Day cards.

Because I can enjoy the much-envied andprivileged three-month holidays.

Because I can stay young being with thoseinnocent minds.

Because I can motivate and inspire thelearners and get motivated and inspired in return.

Because I can teach them all about the worldwhile they teach me all about life.

Because I can make a huge difference inlearner s lives and leave a longlasting impact.

Now, let me ask you: why do you do your job?
