Ladies and gentlemen,

  Welcome to China,welcome to Hubei province!Today I'm very pleased to show you Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.At first,I'll have a brief self-introduction.My name is Edith,I'm from Three Gorges International Travel Service.I'll be your local guide.On behalf of may travel agency,we hope you have a nice journey here.If you have any special interest,please tell your tour leader, and he will let us know.My job is to smooth your way,care for your welfare ,try my best to answer your question and be your guide and interpreter.I'll try my best to"warm the cockles of your heart".We highly appreciate your understanding and corporation.

  Above all , I'll give you a brief introduction of the Yangtze River.The Yangtze River is the biggest river in China and the third longest in the world,just next only to the Amazon and the Nile.It starts with the Tuotuo River at the Roof of the World-Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.And it takes in countless rivers and flows eastward across the interior of China.With an overall length of more than 6300 kilometers,the Yangtze River is a cradle that breeds the ancient civilization of the Chinese nation.

  Now let's enjoy the view of Xiling Gorge. Xiling Gorge stretches 78 kilometers eastward and cliffs on either side rise to just over 900 meters.Please look far into the distance,and you will have a sense of broadness and wide angle of vista ahead as well as a conception of magnificent landscape ,a picturesque scroll painting that offers more than enough to muse.

  In the Three Gorges,the boat played an important role to link the outside,but a lot of danger as devil was threaten the safe of the boat and lives of boatmen in ancient time.The  Xiling Gorge is also known for its malignant whirlpools, which usually appear at sharp turns in the gorges,or when the water is turbulent.

  Now we're arriving at Wu Gorge and it extends 40 kilometers.It has a reputation based on a beautiful legend---the"12 peaks of Wushan".The story goes like this:12 nymphs once descended to enjoy themselves in the secular world.Finding how perilous Wu Gorge was,they decided to stay here to protect ships.As time went by,they transformed themselves into 12 peaks.The Goddess Peak , the most graceful of the 12,is said to have been yaoji,the youngest daughter of the Queen mother of  the Western Heaven.The Goddess Peak stands out from other peaks on the northern bank to be the first to greet the morning sun and the last to bid it farewell.Hence it has another name-viewing the glow peak.Look far into distance and you'll find it resembles the silhouette of a beautiful young lady.

  Please come here,Qutang Gorge is just around the corner.Qutang Gorge is the smallest and shortest but grandest of the three.You can have a rest and take photos here.20 minutes later,we'll get toghther.Please enjoy the view and have a good time.
