It was certainly a crazy summer for me. From playing in the World
Championships for Team USA, to being traded to the Houston Rockets, to moving from Memphis to Houston, to signing a deal with PEAK and traveling to Beijing for three days, and finally trying to fit in as a new member of the Houston Rockets, I have been kept very busy. I get tired just thinking about it!  Although it was crazy, it was also a very exciting summer for me. I like new challenges, it keeps me energized.

I am really excited to be the international spokesperson for PEAK!  In the US, not very many people have heard of PEAK shoes, so when I signed a contract with PEAK, most of my friends did not know what to think. When I told them, however, that PEAK is the largest shoe company in China, they were happy for me.  I think Yao Ming was the most surprised when I told him that I was going to wear PEAK. I even joked with him that my new friends in China may begin to like me more than him. Hahahaha. Even he laughed at that one.

I am looking forward to wearing PEAK shoes and am really excited about the Shane Battier signature shoe that is being developed. Be on the lookout for them!  Be sure to check in regularly on this websites as I will be writing in all season long to tell you about my life on and off the court.
