everyone,
interesting new layout, i have to apologize i'm not very familiar with it, so it might take me a while to get used to navigating around this blog! i'm in weihai now for the
mid-autumn moon festival concert, and we had quite a tiring
day. we had to get up at 4am, leave for the
airport at 5am, to catch the early flight to weihai from
beijing. then rehearsal was delayed due to some
technical problems, i think, so we ended up waiting for quite a
while. i don't mind, though, bc i got to catch a
couple hours of sleep while waiting...
hopefully the performance will go
smoothly, and i hope the dancer that happened to fall into the
broken piece in the stage is ok!
i don't know if you all have heard about hurricane ike, and the damage that this hurricane is causing around the gulf coast (south-central part of the US, surrounding the gulf of mexico). i hope you all
will join me in sending out a prayer or wishes for safety for the
people there. i hope my family and friends are
all safe and healthy in houston... my dad is in houston now, i
received a sms from him yesterday (monday) afternoon, so i think
he's doing ok. take care and stay safe, everyone!
