i love you, you're perfect, now change

i had a really nice day... =)
i had a break from work, so i went to see 二哥 (于毅) in the opening night of the musical "i love you, you're perfect, now change"! it was really good, and really great to
see 二哥 again! the original version of this
musical was in english, written by joe dipietro... and translated
and adapted into mandarin by yu rongjun (喻荣军).
it was really interesting to see this production in mandarin,
translated from english, directed by american director, joel
bishoff. i just thought the script was written so
cleverly, translated and directed so successfully, bc personally,
as i was watching the musical, i was listening to the lyrics and
lines in mandarin, while reading the english lyrics and lines, so i
think i got the best of both languages. i really
enjoyed the subtle changes to the script in
translation (for example lasagna in english to 刀消麵 in mandarin)
while it still stayed true to the original spirit of each
story. all the actors (林依轮, 于毅， 温阳, and
马青莉）were very good, acting and singing, and it was fun to see
them adapt to so many different roles as the stories
changed. the music was also nice... simple, but
enough, with just a single pianist and a violinist (姜清华 and
钱澄). the musical has been touring, going from
city to city, and even to america; it's showing in beijing until
the 24th, so don't miss the chance to see it!
however, a little warning: i think it is more a
show for adults, not so much for young children, bc the language
and subject matter, although light-hearted, is all more about the
game of love in the adult world.
we had a great time and got to meet 林老师 and his lovely family, and had a nice after-show dinner with them and michael and lulu from broadway asia. all in all, i had a really
enjoyable day off! so, thank you, 二哥 for
inviting me! you really did great, we couldn't
tell at all you had a cold, your acting and your vocal control and
emotions were funny and touching in just the right
places! +oil!
now i have to go and try to get some rest, bc we're going to be filming late-late shift, which is all night until
tomorrow morning or noon or something, so i'd better conserve some
energy!

我昨天真的过的很开心...=)
我昨天没有工作，所以我去看二哥 (于毅)的音乐剧《i love you, you're perfect, now change》的首演。真的很棒，而且很开心可以又看到二哥！这个音乐剧原著是英文的，是joe dipietro写的，然后由喻荣军翻译和改编成普通话。真是很有趣看到这部剧由英文翻译成普通话，由美国导演joel bishoff执导。我觉得剧本写的很聪明，翻译和导演都很成功，但是个人来讲，当我在看音乐剧的时候，我听着普通话歌词和台词，同时我读着英文歌词和台词，所以我觉得我对这两种语言有了更好的理解！我真的很欣赏剧本在翻译过程中的一些细微改变（比如英文Lasagna翻译成了普通话刀削面）同时依然保持原著每个故事的真实性。所有的演员 (林依轮, 于毅， 温阳, and 马青莉）都演戏和唱歌都很棒，看到他们随着故事的改变去适应不同的角色真的很搞笑。音乐也很好听，仅仅是一个钢琴家和一个小提琴家的表演(姜清华 and 钱澄)，简单，但是已经足够。这个音乐剧正在巡演，从一个城市到另一个城市演出，甚至会去美国；会一直在北京演出到24号，所以不要错过机会去看哦！但是，有一点点小小的提醒：我觉得这个演出更像是为成年人准备的，对小孩来讲不是很合适，因为语言和题材的关系，虽然很轻松，但是更多是关于成年人世界里的爱情游戏。
我们也很开心可以看到林老师和他可爱的家人，而且和他们还有亚洲百脑汇的michael和lulu演出完后有个很美好的晚餐。总之，我真的有个很开心的一天！所以，谢谢，二哥邀请我！你真的很棒，我们根本没办法分辨你感冒了，你的演出和你的声音控制和表情真的很搞笑和感动得恰到好处！加油！！！
现在我得去休息一下，因为我们灯下要去拍晚上的场景，会一直拍通宵到明天早上或者中午，所以我最好保存些体力！
