The Loschberg Line and Centovalli Train offer the shortest connection and the route with the best views between Bern and the Lake Maggiore. This route also connects the UNESCO World Heritage sites Bern and the Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn, the alpine world’s first World Heritage Landscape. The journey from North to South offers a wonderful view of the Rhone Valley as one descends the southern ramp towards Brig and then enters the Simplon Tunnel on the way to Italy.

On the ride between Domodossola and Locarno with the Centovalli Train you can see gushing waterfalls, tidy vineyards, chestnut forests and villages that time forgot roll by your window.
