Why couldn't I use Chinese????

Is there anything wrong with Sina Blog?

 

Today PM gave me a requirement that he wants to know which DB the mail is sent through.

 

Coz it's the first time I encounter how to fetch DB Name,I asked  my counsellor for help,then I got the answer as follows:

 

database: 
SELECT  name  from  v$database;  

instance: 
select  instance_name  from  v$instance;

 

I should never go first for helps by others when encountering problems,I should do it myself first!!!

 

I'll improve it!
