历时14天的欧洲之旅结束了。儿子很懂事，真按我说的把这些天来的所看所想所感用文字记录了下来。但因为没有电脑，每天都是用手写的。回来后，儿子利用周末时间把日记都打了出来，并发给了我。读罢，感慨颇多。

给我的第一个感受就是孩子真是长大了，有了自己的思想。原以为他的日记一定是每天都干了些什么的流水账，但15篇2万余字的日记却是篇篇精彩，立意新颖，给他留下深刻印象的人、物、景、还有他的不寻常的经历都记录在其中，并有自己的思考。他写了威尼斯之旅、第一个旅馆、北美到欧洲的飞机、意大利的旅游车、佛罗里达、罗马、Vatican、Capri、Pompeii遗址、10天之旅、在爱琴海游泳、难忘的最后一天……

素有希腊神话之称的美丽的爱琴海是我最向往的地方，看到儿子在那游泳的日记让我激动不已，仿佛我自己已置身于其中了。儿子的这篇日记是这样写的——

13)      The highlight of day 12 is the swim in the Aegean Sea. For such a hot day, swimming was the best relaxation a human could have. Our hotel is located right next to the beach, making swimming an available option when free time is around. The rocks in the water were pretty hazardous, a lot of people got cuts and injuries. I was lucky enough to shed no blood and I was glad. Playing around in water came just at the right time, just when it is needed.

It's either the dinner had no salt, or my lips were still salty from the swimming. For after swimming, the dinner lacked salt. Nevertheless, it tasted good enough for me to be full. However, no matter how many times I eat, I can never get used to the flavour of the mozacca. The sweetness just doesn’t mix with the rest of the dish. Also, the bread, vegetables, salads and fruits were enough to fill me up.

Compared to the second half, the first half of the day was brutal. It was scorching hot and we had to stay out in the sun for a long time up on a hill. I could barely take in what the guide said and relied solely on the air conditioned museum to save me. Unfortunately, we couldn’t access the museum and simply killed time by sitting in the shade. Today almost seemed like the most unproductive day even compared to the traveling days on the bus. Despite all this, I still managed to grasp the basic idea of the Parthenon in Athens.

After the Parthenon we had free time. The rest of the day was pretty cool by then; free time was followed by swimming, dinner and more free time. We rode the Tram, which is a normal, ground level train. During the second free time, I caught up in my journal and even took a stroll with Ms. Poynter’s dad and Daniel Fraser, who chose to not go shopping along with everyone else. We went along the beach, talking about the luxurious yachts and science, ranging from astronomy to light and lasers. It was pretty interesting, since I always preferred science over humanities. Good day, in the end, relaxing.

儿子告诉我，他这一趟旅行非常完美，没有丢东西、落东西，没有受伤，没有生病，不像其他同学。我一边听着，一边笑着，一边流泪。看不见他，却能感受到他快乐的感受、温暖的心情。
