面试经历

I use to join an interview in a native company which was invested a part by a Canadian corporation. It is really a sad process and I think it have hurt the image of this company, so I sent an e-mail to show my view.

Dear Sir:

I am a candidate who used to participated your company interview on 16/8. Your luxurious working environment and a well-structured facility impresses me. I am hereby giving you this letter to express my personal viewpoints of interview process.

First of all, your recruitment doesn’t seem to be very practical. A company in your size shall include a Human Resource Department that your company lacks of. In this case, an interview without HR involved in the process seems to be inefficient.

I arrived at 8: 20 in the morning and waited until 11:30 to get the chance to participate your group interview. The interviewer asked me three to four questions, which are meaningless to me, the concluded my interview. I didn’t wish to express my disagreement of those questions as the time mainly because I understood it requires a very lengthy hours to meet each individual candidate, and the interviewer might become exhausted afterwards. In such interview process, the interviewer could easily choose someone based on the highest ranking on the certificate and his own intuition but ignore the fundamental objectives of choosing the qualified candidates.

While I was waiting for the interview, I asked other candidates for the detail of job description. Unfortunately none of us knew what it is. In fact they only wish to get the opportunity to get to work for your company. It is as if someone gets lost in the fog. I believe all persons applied for the position should have the right to know what they’re applying for and if they could fit in the position. In addition, I believe the interviewers could utilize some testing mechanisms in the games to assist selection process in order to reveal the capabilities of the organization and communication skills of those candidates. This would be especially effective when choosing sales persons of managers when the number of candidates becomes enough to be partitioned into several groups. I am merely sharing my point of view based on the experience I have on the HR management.

I completely agree that a detailed review of resumes id an essential part of an interview process. However, the interviewers usually would concentrate their questions on the areas, which are unclear to them such as gaps between employment and a fuzzy job description. By doing so, it would merely force the candidates to become dishonest when focusing on these areas excessively. This is therefore we need to have a more scientific method when recruiting new members to the company. I always believe it is beneficial to a company with a good infrastructure, clear job description and a transparent company policy.

Before I conclude my letter, I wish to bring it to your attention that your company address shown in your previous reply email to me points to a chemical company. You may wish to correct this error.

Sincerely yours,

I just wanna to share this letter with my blogs friends.
