慎用塑料容器及微波炉

——有关致癌的最新信息

   一直知道塑料和微波炉致癌，前段时间把家里的塑料器皿几乎全更换成了玻璃或瓷器的。今天收到老公转发的这篇来自约翰 ·霍普金斯（John Hopkins）有关致癌的最新信息，赶紧也转发给了我所有的朋友们，在这里还是想再广而告之一下。原文是英文，我这里就翻译成中文给大家，也希望大家交相转告，祝人人拥有健康的生活！

  约翰·霍浦金斯医院最近在其新闻发怖布稿中透露了以下讯息。此讯息也正在华特里德陆军医学中心（Walter Reed Army Medical Center）流传着。

不要在微波炉里使用塑料器皿（No plastic containers in micro ）

不要将瓶装水放进冰箱强冻层（No water bottles in freezer. ）

微波炉里勿使用塑料薄膜（No plastic wrap in microwave... ）

因为其中含有的戴奥辛，是一种致癌碳氢化合物，尤其会导致乳腺癌。（A dioxin chemical causes cancer, especially breast cancer. ）

戴奥辛是一种对身体细胞有高度危害的碳氢化合物，千万不要将瓶装水冷冻，因为它们将从塑料中释放这种戴奥辛。（Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. ）

卡索医院保健计划的主管藤本·爱德华医生，最近上电视解释此项对健康的危险。他谈到了戴奥辛，以及它对我们有多大的危害。（Recently, Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. ）

他说我们不应该用微波炉来加热装有食物的塑料器皿。（He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers...  ）

此法则尤其针对含脂肪的食物（This especially applies to foods that contain fat. ）

他说脂肪、高热与塑料结合后，会释出戴奥辛进入食物中，最后则进入人体细胞内。（He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body... ）

 他建议给食物加热时，要用玻璃器皿来装，诸如康宁锅或陶瓷容器来加热食物。其效果是一样的，只是没了戴奥辛。所以类似电视快餐餐、生力面、快餐汤等，需将食物取出，放入其它容器，再行加热。（Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food... You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. ）

纸容器并不坏，但是你也不知道，其中含有什么。使用处理过的玻璃、康宁锅等，还是安全一些。（Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc.）

他提醒我们，不久前一些快餐店，停用塑料泡沫容器改用纸容器。其原因之一，也是戴奥辛问题。（He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons...）

此外，他指出塑料薄膜若包裹食物放入微波炉中烹煮，如赛伦薄膜，也是同样的危害。由于食物是裸露的，高热会让有毒性的戴奥辛，自塑料薄膜中熔出，而滴入食物。 （Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. ）

用纸巾替代塑料薄膜覆盖食物。（Cover food with a paper towel instead.）

   以上信息，有些我也早知道，也避免用塑料制品，但一些信息对我也是新的，如不能冷冻瓶装水，建议家中有塑料器皿的朋友停止使用它们，最好将之换成玻璃或瓷器的。
