Carpe Diem:Seize the Day!
There is a term in Latin,carpe diem,which was often said in ancient
times.It was important then,and it is just as important now.What
does carpe diem mean?Literally,it means "seize the day."But ,in
fact,it tells us much more than that .It tells us about
time.
First of all,carpe diem means that time is a precious
gift.Therefore,we should not take it for granted.Intead,we should
make each day an exciting adventure.Second,carpe diem tells ue to
use time wisely.we should get organized and be more efficient.Most
importantly,we must do what needs to be done.Third,carpe diem means
that we should not waste time.We must never hesitate or put things
off.Procrastination is a sin.
In short,we only live once.Thus,we should really live,not just
exist.We should try to live like there is no tomorrow.Carpe
diem--seize the day!
