Many people argue that it is right to offer college admission to
every high school graduate. By saying that , they mean the
admission to college should be offer to everyone , no matter his
family can support the high expenditure of being educated in
college or not , no matter this guy is able to finish his study in
the college or not .
There might be some element of truth in these people's belief . But
if we consider it in depth , we will feel no reservation to
conclude that admission to college should be offer by examination
only . There are number of reasons behind my belief .
Frist of all , everyboby know that we live in a labor-intensive
society , numbers of overseas-funded enterprises invest their money
to China , just because there is cheap and numerous labor in
Chinese market . If every high school graduate can get a college
offer , how could we meet the oversea-funded enterprises's need of
labor force ? Does it mean the fading of Chinese economy
?
Besides , How could we build so many school
building and dormitories , hire so many teachers ,
immediatly , for every high school graduate?
The last but not the least , in my opinion , whether a high school
graduate should be send into a college , should be decided by his
own willing and his ability . I do not think is right we send one
person into college if he really does not want to , if he is not
able to accomplish the futher study .
In
the all , I agree
that everyone deserves a chance
to futher education , while the college is not the
only place to study or the only chance they all
have in the whole life , if one
want to study , it can be anytime and anywhere ,
and the admission to college should be offer by examination , which
shows the applicant's willing and ability.
