《日本人》
日本人有多么彬彬有礼;
他总是说,“请原谅,对不起。”
他爬进了邻居的花园,
他微笑着说,“我请你多包涵”;
他鞠躬,很友善地咧嘴一笑,
把他一群饥饿的家人招来了;
他咧嘴笑,然后友善地鞠躬;
“真抱歉,现在这是我的园庭。”

The Japanese (1938)
How courteous is the Japanese;
He always says, “Excuse it, please.”
He climbs into his neighbor’s garden,
And smiles, and says, “I beg your pardon”;
He bows and grins a friendly grin,
And calls his hungry family in;
He grins, and bows a friendly bow;
“So sorry, this my garden now.”
