刚于前日圆满结束的捷克卡罗维发利（Karlovy Vary）影展，获发影展最高荣誉「Crystal Globe」大奖，由美国女导演Laurie Collyer凭新片《Sherrybaby》夺得。这位毕业于纽约大学电影系的女导演，此片是她第二部执导作品，影片描述一名女性回故乡新泽西州接受三年囚禁，期间她尝试与女儿重新建立关系的过程，导演表示影片是受到童年好友的经历所启发。

Universal Home Video has announced Sherrybaby which stars Maggie Gyllenhaal as a woman three years after entering prison for robbery as a 19-year-old heroin addict. The disc will be available to own from the 23rd January, and should retail at around $27.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. English subtitles will also be provided.
