Paramount Home Entertainment have announced
the Region 1 DVD release of 1900 (Special Collector’s
Edition) for 5th December 2006 priced at $19.99 SRP. A history
of Italy from 1900 to 1945 is reflected through the friendship of
two men across class lines. 1900 is a monumental epic about the
political turmoil between WWI and WWII created in the spirit of
Once Upon A Time in America. Directed by Oscar winner
Bernado Bertolucci and starring Robert De Niro, Gerard Depardeieu,
Burt Lancaster and Donald Sutherland, 1900 arrives on R1 DVD for
the first time.
