Fox Home Entertainment has announced the ninth season of The Simpsons which will arrive in shops on the 19th December. Retail will be $49.98. Each of the episodes will be presented in 1.33:1 full frame, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include audio commentaries, an exclusive sneak peak at the Simpsons Movie, a Riff from Matt Groening, a selection of deleted scenes, a season nine featurette, Animation Showcase: Principal & The Pauper, Lisa The Simpson Act 1, Illustrated Commentary: All Singing, All Dancing, Illustrated Commentary: Lost Our Lisa, deleted scenes gallery with optional commentary, promotional spots, and more.
