Paramount has announced single and double-disc editions of Mission Impossible 3 which stars Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Keri Russell, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Each will be available to own from the 30th October this year. The two-disc collector's edition will include a number of features including an audio commentary with Cruise and and director J.J. Abrams, five deleted scenes, four documentaries (“The Making of the Mission,” “Mission Action: Inside the Action Unit,” “Visualizing the Mission” and “Scoring the Mission.”), a “Moviefone Unscripted” segment, in which Abrams and Cruise answer questions from fans, theatrical trailers and eastereggs. The single-disc release (priced at around $19.99) will include only the audio commentary, “The Making of the Mission” documentary and deleted scenes.



Also available from the 30th will be HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc versions of the film. Each will feature the film in 1080p high-definition, along with English, French and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus soundtracks with English, English SDH+, French and Spanish subtitles. As well as all of the above features, the HD DVD release will include an “enhanced commentary” with star Tom Cruise and Abrams that shows them talking in a corner of the screen while the movie is playing. Each of these will retail at around $29.99.
