Madonna 2000 年惊世骇俗的 MUSIC 二单 Don’t Tell Me，至今还依然坚挺在我所钟爱的“我最喜欢的麦当娜歌曲” Top 5 行列里，当然除了弦乐配软电子的编曲和节奏深得我心外，神神叨叨的歌词翻译起来也着实有意思——这其实是一首很伤感的爱情歌曲，表达了….. 嗯，一种没有得到对方回应的相思之苦，而把这种感情潜藏在各种晦涩的景观里，比如“the open mouth of a grave” & “take black off a crow” 等超自然现象里，所以我就索性翻译得神神叨叨一点。

MV 也是我很喜欢的，因为拍摄手法有够“吊”，可以看看 Jean Baptiste Mondino 大人除了人物摄影达人外，也是个意识流高手。通过前景和背景的巧妙剪辑，以及独特的拍摄方式技巧（大家细看人物静止的时候，尘土依然还在飘扬，虽然不是什么高难度的技术活，但反而很少有人想到）。记得当初给某广电班同学看了一遍，第二天就被当作他们的示范教材了。

当然，这支也是 Madonna 为数不多的 有完整 choreography 的 MV 之一，年过40（事实她当时正好40岁整）的Madonna 一身牛仔装，整部 MV 如同西部风光片一样让人目眩神迷。而某种意义上，D-Squared2 能红起来，也依赖了这支 MV 以及后来 Madonna 2001 年的 Drowned World Tour 的服装设计参与。
