From your response, I can reason that you are very aggressive to express your different opinion and convince people what you think. It is necessary for your future career. However, for friends and relatives, sometimes you need hold on for one more minute,  one more hour, and  one more day. I do not blame you for what you said. When I was your age, I was just like you. Now I am getting older and I realize that things would go my way if I held on for one more day.
