这是我的诗歌作业，我写的是日本Haiku. 这种诗歌主要展示人与大自然情景交融时的种种感悟。诗歌有固定格式：共三行，每行分别有5，7，5个音节(syllable).

我胡思乱想没问题，但音节有时候弄不准。我家的几个孩子都是我的音节老师。

我的文学老师是美国某大学的英文教授，诗人。她给我的评语不错(见下)。初学写HAIKU，我居然得了95分，班级最高分，很是意外和惊喜。

An old tree

You have many arms,

Dear tree. Which arm is for me?

Dear old and wise tree.

Rain

Rain, blood of nature

Circulating in the air

Feed my dried up soul

Umbrellas

You're welcome in rain

Disliked when sun sings and plays

I worry your fate 

Love bird

Love bird sings loudly

I sleep sound and happily

The bird is my dream 

Sun and Moon

Sun rises and falls

My heart goes around the Moon

They control my mood

Leaves

Falling leaves fly high

With all their might, chasing air

In vain and in joy

Backyard

You are my backyard

Filled with sweet roses and trees

Water you in May

"Wake up, freezing lake"

"Be quiet, you poor human"

老师评语如下：

"Rain" is really nice, as is "Sun and Moon." But, by far, "Discussion" is my favorite. It's unusual and invokes so much more than it says outright. So much about humanity and nature and so many questions about meaning. It's perfect.
