圣诞节，要给体操教练送多大的礼物？

下面是一位热心的美国妈妈给我们发的信。她建议大家集资，给体操教练送个圣诞节礼物。

算来算去，每位体操教练将得到$50美金的礼物卡和一张圣诞卡。美国人给老师教练送礼，很收敛，很内秀吧。

在美国，人情并不似故乡。美国人情似流水，缓缓地，慢慢地流淌。

I have been thinking about this for a while & finally remembered to send this e-mail! If you are interested in contributing to a Christmas gift for Kara and Lisa, I will be collecting the $$ and will purchase a gift card for each.

I would like to collect $15 from each girl (level 7-8). If everyone participates that will give us $120, $60 for each coach. I would do a $50 gift card for each and use the extra for cards that the girls will sign & a little something to put with it.

PLEASE let me know if you do not want to participate so I can re-adjust what I buy. You can give the money to me or your daughter can give it to A at practice.
