儿子笔下的巴哈马

去年夏天，我带孩子们坐邮轮去巴哈马旅游。都过了一年了，我至今没写过什么游记。刚刚翻我儿子的书包，我发现他为了应付学校的作业，写了一小段巴哈马游记。读完之后，我觉得这小人儿写的挺有细节的，很像一段小说中的场景。在这个小作文里，我儿子用了一个石破天惊的形容词colossal来形容波浪。这词儿对小学三年级的孩子来说，有一定难度。难怪儿子的英文老师特意标出这个词儿，还给了一个大大的惊叹号和一个WOW。

The Bahamas was awesome! I had lots of fun on the beach. I first went to swim in the crystal clear water. The air was so hot that my skin tanned a little. I then splashed in the colossal waves on the beach. Next I went to the forest on a tour. The muddy path soaked my shoes and socks. I saw amazing insects on long blades of grass. As I walked, I saw palm trees with tall trunks and rough bark. The leaves were bright, green and dark green. The brown coconuts were from the long and skinny branches. These were all the interesting things I did and saw at the Bahamas. I had lot of fun.
