回来的路上很沉闷，能随意地哼起几支歌曲，比如在拉斯的沙漠中飞驰，就可以想到张雨生和陶晶莹合唱的《我期待》，以连续爆破的高音取代柔静如水的恬淡，能够取得银瓶乍破的冲击。尤其是连续的SAY GOODBYE，能够在歌声的交错中展现时空的画卷，符合当时的心境。

而进入洛杉矶的夜，老鹰乐队的《加州旅馆》则会猝不及防地进入脑海，苍凉的高速公路两旁尽是冰冷的夜灯，昏暗到让人感觉无助。老鹰乐队的金属声音可以尖利到划破夜的沉静，给人最亢奋的振作。一直认为他们的POP摇滚很像黑豹1的经历，在无形中爆发，在无谓中永恒。
