剧情：

一名沉默的美国数学教授大卫带着他的英国妻子艾米搬到英国郊外居住，在他们住的地方，有一个修屋的工人认为大卫好欺负，故意以计将大卫骗去打猎，然后趁机强暴了大卫的妻子艾米，刚开始艾米不从，后来却半推半就，而另一个捕鼠人的出现，再一次的强奸却让艾米伤心欲绝。后来，大卫为了拯救一名车祸受伤的低能儿，竟被当地居民疯狂围攻其住宅。大卫在忍无可忍之下，不顾一切的展开血腥抵抗。这是导演萨姆·佩金法最有名的暴力电影代表作之一，在全片压轴的半小时表演充满了令人震惊的火爆动作，主题则有“天地不仁，以万物为刍狗”之意。
