2010年“发现中国”之“只有云知道-察察之路”公益保护记录行动，将于4月中旬在首都北京，国家体育馆鸟巢发车。途径河北，河南，陕西，四川，重庆，贵州，云南，西藏，青海等超过10个省或直辖市，全程15000公里左右，用60天左右的时间，对“察察公路”以及沿途的人文地理，做一次深度系统的文字和图像拍摄采风记录。

    察察之路，即西藏察瓦龙至察隅间一段号称只有云知道的原始神秘路线。比进入西藏墨脱难度还大的一条路。这段路时而行驶在仅仅一辆车宽，几百米高的挂壁公路，时而车轮紧邻激流滚滚的怒江，随时可能遇到飞石和塌方的威胁。时而又穿行在原始森林间，参天巨树和树枝上挂满的银纱般的植物，让人恍惚行走在潘多拉星球上。途中还有3座海拔超过4千多米的高山阻隔，每年三分之二的时间，这里都会被大雪封住，不能与外界通联。尽管察瓦龙隶属于西藏自治区管辖范围，但是要到拉萨，最快的方式是去昆明坐飞机。这是一条至今没有对外开通的第7条进入西藏的线路，是即新藏线、青藏线、唐蕃古道、川藏北线、川藏南线、滇藏线之后的第7条也是路程上最近的一条进藏路线。

    本次行动，发现中国考察队镜头和目光将重点锁定云南及西藏。这里是孔雀公主和格萨尔王的故乡，这里是52个民族生活在一起的乐土，这里有千重山，这里有万条河，这里还有无数美丽的景色，可爱的动物，和不同的民俗风情等。考察队将用文字和图片，通过各种渠道的宣传，提高全社会环境保护意识，对动物的爱护、对文化遗产的珍惜！以及更好的发展和推进当地的公益事业，帮助更多需要帮助的人，为和谐社会做出应有的贡献。
