上海饭店业协会国际品牌酒店分会成员“第五届慈善高尔夫锦标赛”International Branded Hotels of Shanghai: “The 5th Charity Golf Tournament”

上海饭店业协会国际品牌酒店分会成员（IBHS）在位于周庄的上海光明高尔夫球场举行了第五届慈善高尔夫锦标赛。来自上海各四、五星级酒店的总经理以及他们的客人参加了此次慈善活动。本次活动正值四川汶川发生八点零级特大地震后，因此具有十分特殊的意义，当天的活动共筹得善款225,000元人民币，将悉数捐献给灾区人民。

IBHS自成立以来，其成长速度相当迅猛，如今已经拥有六十二名成员了。活动当点，参加比赛的酒店总经理们以及其他重要客人在蓝天白云下尽情挥动手中的高尔夫球杆的同时，也奉献出了自己的爱心。他们都纷纷表示，自己所在的酒店和公司在地震发生以后就立即组织了爱心捐款活动，员工们都踊跃地慷慨解囊，积极捐款捐物，以表示对灾区人民的支持。汶川大地震，不仅使中国呈现出空前的凝聚力，也牵动了在华工作的外国友人的心，举办慈善活动也是这些外资企业回报社会的表现。

“The 5th Charity Golf Tournament” organized by the International Branded Hotels of Shanghai (IBHS) attracted the general managers of its members, 4- and 5-star international branded hotels, who drove to Shanghai Guang Ming Golf Court (in Zhouzhuang) along with their guests to attend the tournament. The charity event bore a special meaning as it took place right after the 8.0-magnitude earthquake in Sichuan. A total of Rmb225,000 collected during the event will be donated to the quake-hit areas to help the people there.

IBHS has been developing rapidly since its foundation; it now has 62 member hotels. The hotel chiefs and their guests who swung the clubs under the azure sky that day also sent their love and concerns to the quake-affected areas and victims. They said, their hotels or companies arranged donations—money as well as materials—by the staff and the management immediately after the earthquake in an attempt to support people in the quake-devastated areas. After the severe earthquake hit Sichuan on May 12th, not only do the Chinese demonstrate unprecedented solidarity, but multi-national corporations and expatriates in the country also show their care and concerns. Charity events like “The 5th Charity Golf Tournament” are their efforts to repay the Chinese society.
