Kempinski Hotel Sanya welcomes the 2008 Beijing Olympic Torch

 　奥运圣火的传递队经过三亚凯宾斯度假酒店门口时，酒店百多名员工踊跃加入了欢迎圣火的队伍，为北京2008奥运会加油、助威。同时，酒店还接待了联想赞助的奥运火炬手：著名的歌手周华健先生、2007年世界小姐张梓琳等。

    当晚，三亚市政府在三亚凯宾斯基度假酒店的花园草坪上举行了欢迎奥运圣火的接待晚宴。北京奥组委执行副主席刘敬民、著名影星章子怡、著名主持人濮存昕、杨澜、歌星周华健、歌唱家李双江、世界小姐张梓琳等出席该晚宴。

 Kempinski Hotel Sanya happens to be situated right along the Olympic Torch Relay route many members of the hotel staff were gathered at the hotel entrance to welcome and give moral support to the torch bearers. Famous Singer Emil Chau and Miss World 2007 Zhang Zi Lin were one of the few Olympic Torch bearers staying in the hotel.

During the night, the Sanya’s People Government hosted a banquet dinner at Kempinski Hotel Sanya for everyone who participated in this exciting event. Many famous people such as well-known actress Zhang Zi Yi, Chinese actor Pu Cun Xin, famous TV presenter Yang Lan, singer Emil Chau, Mr. China Tony Jiang Le Jun, 2008 Beijing Olympic Committee Vice-Chairman Liu Jing Min, Chinese singer Li Shuang Jiang to name a few were present during the dinner and were welcomed by General Manager, Mr. Rudi Scherb at the hotel’s lobby.
