上海扬子江万丽大酒店举行 “不可思议”印度美食节

印度的食物在世界上独具特色，也许没有一个国家的饮食文化像印度那样，具有如此明显的宗教色彩，如此深刻的文化意蕴。为了深化人文交流、学术与旅游，上海扬子江万丽大酒店与驻沪印度领事馆及印度旅游局携手推出为期一周的“印度美食节”活动。

 

活动推广期间，上海扬子江万丽大酒店精心布置，在万丽咖啡厅入口处放置了一个雕刻的惟妙惟肖的泰姬陵，以及印度所信奉的佛陀、牛、蛇、大象等神灵作为装饰。还特别邀请了来自印度当地的大厨秀出烹饪手艺，让大家品味到菜的精髓：各款咖喱、香料与鸡、羊肉的搭配和著名的飞饼等美食。此外专程来沪的印度表演者也为大家展现了印度民族舞的魅力。

 

活动也邀请了上海旅游委主任道书明先生与印度旅游部副部长班纳吉先生为此次的美食节揭幕，并点燃神灯。在开幕式中上海旅游事业管理委员会主任道书明先生，印度驻沪总领事白加尉先生，印度旅游部副部长班纳吉先生及上海扬子江万丽大酒店总经理施华德先生分别为活动致词，旅游界的代表、贵宾及中印两方媒体等也受邀参加。印度航空公司也为当晚活动助兴，提供了上海至印度新德里的往返机票作为幸运抽奖。

 

Indian food is well-know in the world for its religious color, profound cultural implication than any other cuisine. In order to cross develop the culture, academics and the travel, the Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel cooperates with Indian General Consulate Shanghai and Indian Tourism Association to hold a week long ‘Indian Food Celebration’.

 

During the promotion period, the entrance of Renaissance Café is dressed up with the Famous Taj Mahal and other fortune icons, i.e Indian Buddha, Cow, Snake and Elephant. In addition, Indian Chefs and folk dance performers are invited as well to present you an authentic, tasty, fun experience!

 

Dao Shuming, chairman of Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission and Mr. Shri S. Banerjee, Indian Vice Minister for Tourism cut the red ribbons and light up ceremonial lights at the opening ceremony. Chairman Dao Shuming, Mr. Shri S. Banerjee, Mr. Vishnu Prakash, consul general of India and Mr. Hartmut Schaller, general manager of Renaissance Yangtze Shanghai Hotel deliver opening speech respectively. More than 80 distinguished guests from India and local media, tourism industry etc are invited to the opening ceremony.
