Hotel Mulia Senayan will pay
tribute to the attraction of Jakarta when the completely redesigned
restaurant reopens the doors again on 8th December 2007.
Incredibly completed in a mere five weeks, The Café is after an
extensive program featuring design elements that bring the
restaurant’s architecture and interior design in tune with the
upscale destination and sophisticated clientele.
An entirely unique concept of
24-hour ethnic-gastronomic restaurant that is unlike any other
concept in the region. The Café was intended to evoke a ‘dining
room’ ambience and be one of the most sought-after tables in the
city. The L-shaped space is divided into a series of smaller rooms,
each inspired by various natural elements (Earth, Water, Fire,
Wood, Gold), a central room anchors the space as the nucleus around
which the various kitchens were carefully integrated into the
design.
“Hotel Mulia Senayan takes
pride to be the first hotel in Jakarta to introduce a ‘dining
room’ experience of such international eclectic heights as each of
the five elements will be headed by ethnic chefs from throughout
the world”, says Mr. Richard P. Appelbaum, General Manager of the
hotel. With the expert supervision of the hotel’s master
experience Executive Chef, Franz Liftenegger, the five authentic
chefs are dedicated to insure each guest an incredible culinary
journey.
As for the design, the creative
talents of an experienced team of designers, consultants and
industry experts from Wilson Associates, Memphis USA, has also
cleverly created an entrance that creates a sense of balance and
center, “Yin & Yang”. The hotel is a neutral space whereby
the five elements come together and create the feeling of
neutrality, balance and tranquility.
Overall, The Café is a
uniquely themed venue which is unique in the region.
