上海JW万豪酒店连续第3年承办普华永道大型晚宴

     为了迎接这一盛会，酒店餐饮部早在3个月前就开始筹划和准备，以保证所有细节万无一失。酒店餐饮总监罗夫表示，承办如此大规模晚宴，事先精心的筹划和准备是成功的要诀。团队的所有成员和当晚提供服务的650名员工竭尽所能，保证了晚宴成功举行。
行政总厨白大维和他的团队为这一2,100人参加的晚宴精心准备了一套5道式喜庆菜单，其中既使用了450多公斤的本地产新鲜牛肉，也特别从澳大利亚空运了多达2,100只龙虾仔。

    酒店宴会部与本地宴会承办公司Luminous为了配合宴会主题——烈焰红情，特别设计了相应的桌面陈列，使用了20,000多支红玫瑰和300多公斤辣椒，配合特别的灯光效果，令人目眩神迷。

    晚宴的另一高潮是香港著名歌手林忆莲的现场演出，让为晚宴锦上添花。PwC上海办事处主要合伙人Nora Wu表示上海JW万豪酒店的设施、食物、服务标准和服务精神的综合实力是他们连续选择这家酒店的原因。

    除此之外，上海JW万豪酒店还曾先后承办过万宝龙100周年晚会、迪奥、上海美术馆阿玛尼设计回顾展等一系列重大活动。

JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai has recently catered more than 2,100 guests for the annual PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) gala dinner which was held at Shanghai International Expo Centre on Saturday January 13th.  This is the third year in a row that JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai won the right to cater for this prestigious event.

To prepare for a dinner of 2,100 guests, the hotel’s food and beverage team spent more than 12 weeks planning and sourcing all the necessary items to ensure that every detail had been taken into account.

The hotel’s director of food and beverage, Rolf Buehlmann, said that meticulous planning was the key to the successful night, when 650 staff were on hand to make sure that everything ran smoothly.

Executive Chef David Burley and his team created a magnificent 5-course celebration menu which showcased not only local produce including over 450 kilos of beef tenderloin, but also international delicacies such as Australian baby lobsters – all 2,100 of them were shipped fresh from Australia by air for the special event.
 
The hotel’s event team, in conjunction with local theming company Luminous, specially designed the table centerpieces to highlight the theme of the night – Red Hot.   More than 20,000 red roses were used along with 300 kilos of chilies to create the unique centerpieces which also incorporated special lighting effects within the floral decorations.

One of the highlights of the night was a special performance by Hong Kong celebrity singer Sandy Lam.
