The Luxe Manor, featuring abstract
interiors and the most high tech features of any hotel in the
region, opened its doors recently on Kimberley Road in Tsim Sha
Tsui, making it Kowloon’s first designer boutique
hotel.
The new luxury hotel features a “surreal” concept and design: a modern reinterpretation of a European mansion featuring mythical elements within its architecture and design features which recall the works of the twentieth century surrealists.
Designed to appeal to a uniquely stylish segment of luxury leisure and business travellers, the 14 floor property -- in the buzzing dining and entertainment district of Knutsford Terrace in Tsim Sha Tsui -- is to be ‘where the surreal slumber.’
Decorated with European antiques and modern pieces, The Luxe Manor offers colourful, splendid European architecture with an oriental touch.
The hotel’s General Manager, Allan Strahle stated, “The Luxe Manor looks even more fascinating and unique than I expected. With the work of a very creative team of designers, we’re certainly filling a niche for hotel guests that wish to be stimulated by their surroundings.”
With room rates starting from HK$1,800.00++ per night, The Luxe Manor will offer a very favourable introductory rate of HK$1,188++ per night until March 5, 2007. The Luxe Manor’s nightly room rate offers a selection of impressive services and amenities including evening turndown service; complimentary buffet breakfast in Aspasia; suit pressing; unlimited wireless internet and Infotainment System access.
The boutique
hotel’s unique design is quirky and fun, yet comfortably stylish.
Playing with illusion – where reality meets fiction and tradition
meets modernity – each room emulates and interprets the grandness
of an antique bedroom. Meanwhile, the television is placed within a
framed mirror with the equipment stowed in a faux
fireplace.
By Spring 2007,
the hotel will not only announce a second dining outlet, but will
also add six themed suites to its inventory. Presently, the newly
completed hotel offers 153 Superior, Premier and Deluxe rooms
featuring Twin, Queen and King sized beds
respectively.
The Luxe Manor’s Italian Restaurant, Aspasia brings Chef Roland Schuller’s revered Italian haute cuisine to the tables of hotel guests and Hong Kong residents.
Featuring original Italian works of art and an eclectic mix of modern lounge and traditional dining room furniture, Aspasia will inspire patrons’ minds and palates.
The Luxe Manor also provides a business centre with full secretarial services, mini-gym and meeting and breakout rooms.
Advanced technology is another facet of the hotel’s many features. Implemented by IT Guru, Terence Ronson of Pertlink, in-room technology includes NXTV’s Interactive Infotainment System viewable through an LCD flat panel TV; high definition video-on-demand; wireless VoIP telephony; and wireless broadband internet access throughout the hotel.
Additional in-room features include luxurious bath products, a digital in-room safe, mini bar, designer tea and coffee set, sleek contemporary bathrooms with rain showers and a secure key card system for the lifts and guest rooms.
The Luxe Manor is owned and operated by GR8 Leisure Concepts, a Hong Kong based hospitality group. For further information, please visit www.theluxemanor.com.
