The Hotel Equatarial Shanghai celebrated the successful completion of the full refurbishment of all of the 526 guest rooms recently. Starting in May 2005 the work was phased over three construction periods with a total investment cost of US$10 million. All of the rooms and corridors were taken back to the concrete shell and then a full makeover took place.
