　　8时38分，在鸣钟击鼓声中，大典开始。序礼结束后“拜祖烈山”、“筑梦神州”、“根系四海”等祭祀方阵依次入场。

　　湖北省副省长甘荣坤主持仪式。湖北省委书记、省人大常委会主任李鸿忠，湖北省委副书记、省长王国生共同开启炎帝神农大殿圣门。

　　歌舞表演《扶犁乐舞》结束后拜祖仪式正式开始。此次大典仪式由湖北省人民政府副省长甘荣坤主持，包括“大典致辞”、“大典开幕”、“恭请圣门”、“点燃圣火”、“敬献花篮”、“敬献高香”、“恭读颂祖文”、“共拜始祖”、“唱颂始祖”九个仪程。
