SUMMERGATE PARTS WAYS WITH DBR LAFITE IN CHINA

Summergate Fine Wines has chosen an amicable ending of its seven- year exclusive relationship with Domaines Baron de Rothschild - Lafite (DBR) in China .  The relationship has been a very successful one for both parties. However, Summergate believes that the interests of its global range of quality producers, its customers throughout greater China , and all of its stakeholders will be best served by remaining independent and free of any single brand owner holding an equity interest in the company. Summergate, now in its twelfth year, will continue as an independent distributor under the leadership of its founding partners, Brendan O’Toole and Ian Ford, working with a first class team of seasoned Summergate wine professionals operating throughout the greater China market.

Over the coming weeks and months Summergate will establish relationships with leading Bordeaux producers to assure that its customers throughout greater China continue to enjoy access to this important wine category.
