英语中常用过去分词形式的动词

英语中有些动词常以过去分词形式出现，而这些词学生常常用错或者不理解，现在把这些常用词做一个简单总结：

规律：一般情况，及物动词要有宾语，没有宾语要用被动；反之，有了宾语就不能再用被动。

1：lose

1:Lost in thought,he almost run inte the car in front of him.

A .losing  B :having lost  C:lost  D:To lose

2:I almost got lost in the forest.(I almost lost my way)

2:remind

     My daughter often makes a schedule to get herself _reminded_of what she is to do in the day.

      A :remind  B :to remind  C :reminded  D:reminding

     Remind somebody of sth

3：known  :把在be known for 中的known看做形容词更合适

     Best known for her work in 1983”The Piano Teacher”, Austria’s Elfriede Jjelinek has won the Noble Prize for literature..

4: suppose/expect

    If you go to xi’an,you will find the palaces there more magnificent than supposed.

   He came back earlier than expected.

5 fix

   They kept their eyes fixed upon the sceen as an exciting football match was televised live.

  A :fixing B :to be fixed  C:to fix  D:fixed

   He sat there with his eyes fixed on the ceiling.

   ==He fixed his eyes on the ceiling.

6:dress (sb)

   Hearing a loud laugh,Jane looked up and saw a huge figure dressed in wild colours.

  They walked in the street dressed in their best clothes.

7.get sb worried

    Laws that punish parents for their little children’ actions against the laws get parents worried.

8:seat seat oneself

    They entered the room and found the child seated at the table.

   What surprised me most was to see some villagers seated at the back of the classroom.
