November 11 represented by four ‘ 1’digits, has been dubbed “bachelor’s Day” by Chinese in recent years.

   More young Chinese singles are celebrating the day ,which, this year comes on Saturday .why the excitement ? well , it seems that lots of people are finding it increasingly difficult t find mr or miss right. But ,then ,why is this happing?

   I believe that self-consciousness is good for people .Everyone deserves to give priority to what he or she wants . However , too much self-consciousness could develop into extreme egotism（利己主义） or narcissism (自恋)

   The other day ,I was watching a BTV matchmaking programming and was surprised to see just how demanding participants were in describing a dreaming a dream lover.

   Mr and miss right ,in their minds ,had to be smarts, good looking ,well-educated ,established, and wealthy at the least.

   I suppose these people were ready to spend their entire lives waiting for such an ideal person to appear .And I suppose they must think highly of themselves to expect so much of the others .

   In the psychology of love ,there is an “equity effect” to the extend that love is not only about finding the right person .love is also about being the right person . love is an equal game between  lovers.

   True love requires both people to be tolerant of the other’s shortcomings. It also means that both are willing to consider the others’ interests no matter what happens. This is what being the right person means!

   If people expect too much of others and too little of themselves, they are likely to fail in finding the right person .

   Theophile gautier , a French poet , novelist ,and critic once said: “to love is to admire with the heart; to admire is to love with the mind .”

    May everyone be blessed in love as well as in being the right person!
