There was a beauty, who I can never forget after seeing

And without seeing her for one day, I miss her almost insane

The phoenix is soaring around, looking for his lover on the sea

Pity that this beauty, is not close to him

So I use zither instead of word, to speak of my feeling

When can I see you again then, to comfort my tossing

I hope to propose you, and hold your hands forever

However I could not fly to you, making me so sad in dying
