
昨日与老公在睡前讨论意识与动作问题,他说,意识应在动作之前,而我反驳,应如流水般,是合一前行。
今日一想,二者并无矛盾。只是文字表面的差异而已。
意到动作到,是他的看法,强调的是那个微妙的“机”,有了明了在心,顺势而下则自能酣畅淋漓;而我说的“flow”,也是带着分秒充满意识和觉知的流动。二者本质相同。
如Martha Graham论及舞蹈艺术:“最重要的是展现动作的这一刻,让这一刻充满生命力,并全力以赴,别让它悄然溜走,毫无知觉也未曾把握。”
觉知,简单的词,做到却不简单。
思维之流奔腾向前,从未为谁而停留。流过心间的烦思俗念和欲望冲动随时驱策着我们,将我们带往本无意前往的地方。如何能从这湍急的瀑流中脱身,坐在岸边,倾听自己,正视激流呢?
你可以把正在进行的或将要进行“觉知训练”称为“禅修”,也可以视为是日常生活的一部分(它们本来就是)。名称并不重要,重要的是你做了什么?
注视着日常生活中的自己,每一个动作,每一句话语,每一个点滴。不要给自己制定高处不胜寒的目标,诸如进入三摩地状态,或是看到脉轮的颜色等。要知道“始于有作人难见,及至无为众始知。”庖丁起始,也是先“所见无非牛者”,而后才“神遇”“不以目视”。

River of Breath
Bring your attention only to the place you are sitting.
Be aware only of the space that your body is occupying. Relax your forehead. Relax your forehead some more.
Now feel the flow, the flow and touch of the breath in your nostrils, breathing gently, slowly, smoothly. When you come to the end of your breath, make no stop; immediately begin to feel your next breath.
To the awareness of your breath, add one thought, such as your favorite name for God from your own spiritual tradition, or a sacred phrase from your own favorite spiritual text. If you do not believe in any of these, you may exhale, lengthening "one" with your exhalation, "two" with your inhalation, without ceasing.
Whichever word or name of God you have chosen, exhale and think that name. Without a break, inhale, thinking the same name. Feel your breath flow in your nostrils.
Observe how your breath, your mind, and the name are flowing together as a single stream.
Maintain the flow and gently open your eyes. Maintain the flow even with your eyes open. Resolve in your mind to calm your mind in this way, many, many times in the day.
Whatever you do with your mind repeatedly will become your mind's habit, and it will rediscover its own original calm nature.
Whenever you have two minutes or three, come back to yourself, to the true home of your consciousness.
Let the ripples subside and let the mind enjoy its own peace.
呼吸之河
把你的关注力放在你坐的地方。
意识仅放在你身体占据的空间上。放松你的前额,再放松一些。
现在感知流动,体会鼻道内气体的流动和碰触,轻柔地、缓慢地、平稳地呼吸。当你来到一个呼吸的结束时,不要停止,立即开始下一个呼吸。
对你的呼吸充满觉知,加入一个念头,如你最崇敬的一个神的名字,或是最神圣的一个短语。如果你对这些都没有信仰,那么你可以在呼气时长长地数“1”,吸气数“2”,持续进行。
不管选择何词何名,呼气时默念它,不要停顿;吸气,再次默念。感觉呼吸在鼻道内流动。
觉察你的呼吸、你的意识以及你默念的名号,是如何流动合一的。
保持流动,轻柔张开眼睛。即便如此,你依然保持流动。用此方法来平静大脑,一天当中不断地运用。
不论你用何种重复的方式,它将成为你大脑的习性,并将重新发现它自身最初的平静本质。
不论何时,当你拥有2-3分钟时,请你回到你自己,回到你意识真实的归宿内。
让涟漪平静下来,让大脑享受它自己的宁静。
