终于迎来了一个阳光灿烂又温暖的周六，我们看鲸鱼的计划总算是可以付诸行动了。我们从Dana Point坐船出海，两个小时的航程虽然没看到鲸鱼，但看到了成群的海豚和海鸟，还有可爱的海狮，大海狮懒洋洋地在晒太阳，小海狮在海浪间游来游去。嘻戏的海豚掀起无数小小的浪花，谱出了一首首欢乐的歌。

不仅多多大开眼界，我和多爸也都感觉这比在海洋世界看得海豚海狮的表演有趣多了，因为我们看到的是最自然的一面。

每年冬天，成千只加州灰鲸离开北极沿着海岸线来到温暖平静的南加州和墨西哥最北端的(Baja)的水域. Dana Point是一个看鲸鱼很有名的地方，每年的12月底到4月，每天都有看鲸鱼的游船出海。这些游船都保证要么你能看到鲸鱼，要么肯定能看到海豚，如果两者都没看到，你可以另选时间免费再次出海。

我们看到的海豚被称做Common Dolphin，因为他们在这个水域很常见，所以就有了这个名字。
