我想画一幅画，它能够代表生命、社会、观点和我们未曾体验的经历。

什么是艺术？也许是一种方法和一种生活的可能性。艺术最重要的是展示生活和人，我们不应该抹煞现实存在的多面性。事物的根源经常蕴含在原始的、边缘的、肮脏的、黑暗的社会素材中。当代艺术家应该直接或间接地保留这种复杂性。

不断地思考，不断地创造能给艺术带来新的东西，这一切应从我们的内心开始。边缘的心灵是一片孤地，寂寥的孤地是心灵的归宿地。边缘文化和生活也是一片孤地，一种常人不愿接近欲望爆发的孤地，与它对等的便是我们心灵中某种欲望的归属地，边缘的孤地同样是不可长居的地方，因为边缘所以显现的特别超常，因为不愿靠近所以有一种异常的感知。而这种感知是相对的，对长居边缘的人来说这种边缘是不可感知的。欲望泛滥滋长的地方，心灵禁锢在孤地之中。他们的躯体守护他们自己的精神家园，艺术家则用敏感者的姿态游走于孤地之中。海德格尔认为：“心境愈是自由，愈能得到美的享受”。这种独特的精神体验是艺术家所独有的，恐惧伴随着孤独，常态伴随着平谈。

Was ist Kunst? Vielleicht ist Kunst eine Methode oder eine Lebensweise. Das Wichtigste ist, dass die Kunst das Leben und den Menschen zeigt. Wir sollten die Vielfalt der Wirklichkeit nicht ignorieren. Und diese Vielfalt enthält, an der Wurzel der Dinge, immer auch ursprüngliche, schmutzige, dunkle Seiten, die wir meist an den Rand drängen. Zeitgenössische Künstler aber sollten, direkt oder indirekt, diese Komplexität behalten.

What is art? Perhaps art is a method or a way of life. The most important is that the art represents the life and human being. We should not ignore the variety of the reality. And this variety always contains, at the root of the things, also the original, dirty or dark sides, which we usually tend to marginalise. Contemporary artists however should keep, directly or indirectly, this complexity.
