Sometimes people ask me where am I from, and I am always willing to say the answer proudly that I am Chinese. Why am I proud to be Chinese? Well, there’s a lot of reasons, China has a lot of famous people and a lot of inventions…And it’s because of three main reasons that make me feel proud to be Chinese.

Firstly, my country, China, has a lot of delicious food. Due to the wide landscape of China, Chinese make different kinds of food in different regions of China, and they have different flavors. For example, people in Shanghai enjoy eating sweet food so sugar is the most important thing in a restaurant which sells Shanghai food. However, far from Shanghai, people in Sichuan province enjoy eating spicy food instead of sweet ones. They like spicy food so much that you can see it clearly before you even start eating the food. The color red, which represents the chili in the dish, is filling the whole dish! This is what makes China famous because in other countries you only hear about what is that country’s best dishes, but in China, you always hear about famous dishes in different regions of China. This is also due to my next reason, the culture of China.
